The workshop took place between May 13th and 15th, 2024, at Arts et Métiers - Institut Marguerite Massart in Brussels within Kunstenfestivaldesarts 2024. The final objects created in collaboration with students were part of the art installation for the performative piece "Threshold" by Kwame Boafo.

This workshop aimed to introduce mechanic students to the world of art, fostering creativity and innovation by exploring the intersection between mechanics and artistic expression. Through hands-on activities and discussions, participants discovered how art could enhance their skills and inspire innovative thinking and approaches to mechanical engineering beyond its mundane functionality.
